Using WoW Model Viewer I extracted the humanoid from the game files. I dressed the models in WoW model viewer to look exactly like my characters in the official World of Warcraft game. I then rigged all the models, and that was what I learned while making this video. I used a default .vrm rig preset because I found that Mixamo could work with these fine. In Mixamo I added the dance gestures to the models. I used the WoW Export tool to extract the cemetery in Duskwood from the game files and imported the .obj files in Blender using a addon that comes with the WoW export tool. I replaced several objects to make them look better. For example: some trees, grave-stones and other stuff in the background. What I also learned while making this is how to create fog. Although I’m not at all happy with the results in the video, but that’s because I didn’t want to spend so much time on the rendering. In Vegas Pro I synced the animations up to the audio and also added the overlay of the original music video. |
