My uncle Pieter really and I mean REALLY likes formula 1 racing. So I thought he might find this video amusing. He was in fact blown away and didn’t understand how on earth I made it. It was actually rather simple. First I asked him to send me three pictures of his head that I used to create a model of his face using the facebuilder plugin for Blender. His favorite race driver was Ayrton Senna, so I downloaded a model of a helm from Sketchfab and created a texture for it myself so it resembles Senna’s helm. The rest of the models that are in this scene are all downloaded from Sketchfab individually. See below for a list of models. All I did was put the objects together in a scene and arranged them. Rendering the lot in cycles didn’t take that long either since it’s a really simple scene. I downloaded the sounds from Youtube and I added these using Vegas. It took me approximately two hours in total.
