I have a list of things that I want-to-have, and on that list is this “mouse”. It’s not a regular mouse, but a 3dconnexion SpaceMouse. It’s actually a mouse that works alongside a default mouse and partly replaces the keyboard when you’re working in 3D apps like Blender. You use it with your left hand, in case you are right-handed like me. They’re a bit expensive, but at the same time they’re not. When you compare it with the price of a regular mouse, you will consider it expensive, but when looking at it objectively it’s not expensive at all for what you’re getting. I’ve seen regular mice in the same price range that don’t add any new functionality to a 5 euro mice. Except for some extra buttons, perhaps. Several models have been produced by 3dconnexion that vary from 100 to 400 euro. Have a look yourself at the available models and their prices on the product page. I haven’t yet decided if I want the SpaceMouse Compact or the SpaceMouse Pro. I still need to investigate that and see what other people have to say about the different models.
